Member Export and Import Function

This function is customized for one of my customers.
But you still can use it.

How it works?

If you have more than 1 POS machines with our POS software, but there is not any link among the machines. You can use this function to export member list to MS Excel (with Password protected), and you copy the MS Excel file to external disk, e.g. thumb drive. you bring the soft copy of you members list to another POS machine, and you can use the import function to import from the MS Excel in your external disk for those members not in your current POS machine.

Remarks:

The MS Excel file exported by the application is password protected, why?
Because at the moment we developed the software, we don't know how to protect the MS sheet structure, and how to prevent user to enter invalid values in the file.
So, if user enters invalid value in the file, and when he/she goes to do the importing, system will show error message. and it will bring our valued customer trouble, and also bring ourselves trouble.
So, you can only add new members into our system, and then export out, and go to next machine to do the import. You cannot open the MS Excel and make changes directly in the file, so far.

In the Future

If customers feel this feature is good and helpful, we will do enhancement for it. and if you need it, you can spend little money to get the updated version. but please give me feedback that you want the feature.
